Please note in advance that the testimony below is not written to brag about myself. This article is written for Christians who are still groaning because of their sins under the law of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, this article will be a stumbling block for those who claim to have been saved by the Holy Spirit. However, for those who are troubled and troubled because of the sins or conflicts in their hearts, it may be a golden opportunity for them to meet Christ and solve their problems.

   I was born in a poor countryside, the eldest of five children. His family was poor and he barely graduated from elementary school. But no matter how poor he was, he was the eldest son, so I thought he would send him to middle school. However, my mother really prevented me from entering middle school. At the time, I had a lot of resentment against my parents for why they were so opposed (I found out later, but this was also God's plan). After graduating from elementary school, I was helping with housework for my parents, but there was no hope in the countryside, so I went to Seoul with only 1,700 won. But since he only had one body, he had to hit anything with his body. I did not hesitate to do all kinds of hard work in order to live. Eventually, I got older and I got married. My wife, whom I met through an acquaintance, came from a so-called mother-belief family, and I grew up in an unbeliever family. So, from a religious point of view, my wife and I met people I would never have met (I found out later, but this was also God's plan).

Show me God!

   Our married life went smoothly. After marriage, my wife encouraged me to go to church with me, so I was not very happy, but I went to church with her a few times. However, after seeing that all the stories the pastors were telling from the pulpit were only the stories of the world, he said he would never go to church again. Then my wife persistently encouraged me to go to church together. So I said, “Then I told you to give up on God. Then I said that I would be able to trust God better than you do.” After that, my wife never encouraged me to go to church again. Although we didn't have anything, our married life went on happily. If there is one flaw, the wife was pregnant with the first child, but she was weak and had a miscarriage. However, after that, two years old, they had a daughter and a son.

   In December 1994, two days before Christmas, the eldest child ate a cold medicine incorrectly prepared at a local hospital and lost consciousness and was taken to the emergency room of a large hospital. But as the child gradually fell into a coma, he was on the verge of unconsciousness. The child who was expected to wake up soon did not know that he would wake up after the year passed. Lips were chapped. About two weeks after being hospitalized, I was called by the doctor in charge and rushed to the hospital. According to the doctor, the high fever caused the child to brain death. When I heard from the doctor in charge of brain death, the sky was falling and the earth was going down. Things I thought would happen to other people also happened to me. As a parent at that time, I didn't want to live anymore because of the guilt I felt for not taking good care of my children. Writhing in agony, I wandered the streets like a madman, thinking that if the child goes wrong, I will die with him.

A messenger sent by God!

   Then one day, on the road, I happened to meet a person who sold sundae. And after talking with him for a few words, I ended up divulging all my inner feelings. After hearing all of my stories, he said that he himself was a terminally ill patient with stomach cancer, but just before he died, with God's help, he came back to life. At the same time, he said that this seems to be the will of God, and he told me to unconditionally go up to the prayer center, fast, and cling to God. In fact, I was reluctant to go up to the prayer center just believing in his words in a situation where I didn't even know if God existed. However, I was determined to die anyway if the child went wrong, so I decided to go up to the prayer center with the feeling of catching straw. However, I had one weakness. If you don't eat on time, your backbone hurts and you can't stand it. For that reason, fasting for 3 nights and 4 days was death for me. However, if I could meet God and save the child, I was determined to do something worse than that, so I felt that I was not afraid to die.

When I returned home and told my wife that I was going to the prayer center, my wife jumped up and told me not to go, saying that if a person without faith goes like that, a ghost will enter you and drive you crazy. However, my son is dying to live alone in this country, and he asked me if I should just sit still like this, and I told him not to interfere with my path because it is a country where even ghosts can eat me in this mood. At my firm tone, my wife couldn't do anything more, and she was only crying.

I'm ready to die...

   I went up to a prayer center in Osan-ri, Gyeonggi-do as the person I met on the road told me (I later found out that the person who sells sundaes was also sent by God). At first, I didn't know how to pray, so I kept repeating the same words over and over again. "God! If you're still alive, can you meet me? And can you save my child? Then I will do whatever you ask me to do.” In the end, all of my prayers became prayers to God.

On the third day after I came to the prayer center, I went into the prayer den on that day as well and prayed with a passionate heart, but tears were suddenly pouring out of my eyes. Then, as the life of the past passed by like a lantern, tears and a runny nose filled the floor of the prayer burrow. After crying like that for hours, my heart felt lighter. All the things that made me feel like my head would break from skipping meals were all gone. After that, I felt refreshed as if I could fly away. When I went down to the prayer hall, I had a feeling that something good was about to happen. Then I suddenly had a thought. “Is it possible that God is alive?” However, I couldn't say anything definitively because there was nothing I could easily get my hands on.

So, after 3 nights and 4 days of fasting, I returned home safely. With great anticipation, I went to the hospital where my child was hospitalized that evening. But no miracle happened to my child. When nothing changed in my child as I had expected, I was even more disappointed. “Now, what should I do with this?” When I was at the prayer center, it seemed that something good was about to happen, but when I saw the reality unfolding before my eyes, it was not. It was dark before my eyes again. My heart was falling again on the cliff of a thousand roads.

Holy Spirit baptism

   I resented myself for not being able to die. Even after coming down from the prayer hall, I sat down with no hope of surviving. At dawn on the third day, my wife came home from a Sunday morning prayer, and I was surprised by the popularity and I woke up. But I felt my body getting weird. Then, as my body heats up little by little, it changes like a fireball. At the same time, I shouted at my wife for a Bible. Then, as soon as I could get my hands on it, I opened the Bible and started reading.

“The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, for we must suffer with him in order to be glorified with him! I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not sufficient for the glory that is to be revealed in us” (Romans 8:16-18).

In the old days, my mother-in-law used to write the Bible, so the letters, which were too small to read, became bolder than the knuckles of my fingers and were sucked into my eyes. I had no idea what the hell was going on with me. But one thing was clear: something big was happening to me. And after a while, in my mouth, without realizing it, I was calling God as Father. It was only later that I found out that this was the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

An event that will open heaven and earth!

   When I believed that God lives through the Holy Spirit, relief came, saying, “Now our child is alive.” In the middle of the night, the heavens and the earth were truly awakened. It was early morning on Sunday, February 26, 1995. As soon as dawn came, my wife and I rushed to the hospital. The moment you see a child lying in the intensive care unit! God opened my eyes again and showed me every single nerve cell tissue of my child. My child's nerve cells were all dead. All brain cells were also stopped. But, from the corner of my heart, I heard God's strong voice telling me to lay my hands on it and pray. I believed in God's omnipotence, laid my hands on my child's forehead and began to pray. Then suddenly, strange words came out of my mouth that I couldn't understand. I, too, was curious to try to stop it, but my curly tongue wouldn't listen. I later found out that it was a dialect.

God's Miracle

   On the third day after praying like that, the hands and feet of our child, who were as good as dead bodies, began to move little by little. Finally, a miracle was happening in our child. I was so excited that I took my wife's hand and wept like a child. In the meantime, the most difficult thing about going to and from the hospital is that when the brain is damaged, the organs start to rot, so the smell is bad. Because of that, the hospital urged me several times to discharge the child saying it would harm other patients. Each time, I had to hide in the bathroom from the doctor in charge. Not for a day or two, but for a month and a half, I had to play hide-and-seek with the doctor in charge. At that time, I was so sad and the whole world was resentful.

However, after receiving the prayer, the smell of rotting organs disappeared from my child, and the hospital did not tell me to discharge the child any more. All of this is a work of God. A human cannot whiten a single hair. Since then, I have been proving the existence of God like crazy. The doctor who told me to leave my child so much when he saw me ran away when he saw me. This is because when I see the doctor, I hold onto him and do not let him go because I have been preaching the existence of God. If I continue to share my testimony, I will cut it short here in case it only highlights my pride and obscures the glory of God. After that, my child passed from death to life. This work was entirely done by God. God has solved the problems that cannot be solved with the power of any science or medicine in the world at once.

God, the Devil, and the Existence of Demons

   After that, through the Holy Spirit, I came to know clearly that God lives, and furthermore, that the devil and demons exist. I also came to know for sure that all of human life and death is in the hands of God. We also learned that our battle is not with flesh and blood, but against evil spirits who have taken over the power of the air. God also revealed a lot about the spiritual world (the mystery of the creation of heaven and earth). After that, God poured out various gifts of the Holy Spirit on me, helping people who were in pain like me. “Now I will live only for God!” I made a resolution and carried out my small plans one by one. My simple dream was to help the Lord's servants who are working hard and to help the non-self-supporting churches across the country.

Meet the Lord who came as the light!

   But God had a different plan than I thought. Once again, I had a terrible experience that cannot be described in words. About 7 months after receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit, one day at dawn, I woke up in a dream to pray at dawn that day as well. However, a light brighter than broad daylight filled the entire room. I turned my head to see what the hell was going on, and I couldn't see my face, but people with thighs thicker than my body (probably angels) came up to me and took off all the clothes I was wearing. ) to be replaced with I am bewildered because I do not understand English, that a young man lying in front of me has died. But forcing me to kneel before him. I just glanced at him with a squint squint as he lay trembling in fear. Then, a light suddenly appeared from his body as he was lying down, and the light was so bright that it was so dazzling that he couldn't look straight ahead. In the meantime, he moved little by little and came to life. After a while he got up and sat down, and he said to me, “You are a witness of my resurrection.”

I didn't know what that meant at the time. The light from his body prevented me from looking straight at him. But after a while, the light was sucked into my body. At the same time, I stopped losing my mind. After a while, I woke up again and when I opened my eyes, there was already nothing in the room. I tried to pinch my flesh and tap my head to see if this was a dream or real time, but it was definitely not a dream. It happened so quickly that I had no idea what had happened then.

reborn in Christ

   From that day on, I felt something was wrong with my body. I had a feeling that someone was leading me inside me. It was a completely different feeling than when I received the Holy Spirit. As I learned later, Jesus, who was resurrected this morning, came directly into my heart as a spirit and became my master. That is why my body and mind did not move according to my will. I told the people in my family who had gone to prayer that morning about what I had been through, but my family members only dismissed it as the work of the Holy Spirit and did not want to believe it at all. When Paul said, “No one can know except those who have received it,” this is probably what he was referring to in this case.

The reason Jesus came into my heart was to save none other than Christians from their sins. As mentioned at the outset, the spirit had to put on a human body to speak, and in order to save man from sin according to his own characteristics, he had to put on a human body. In order for the resurrected Jesus to save Christians from their sins, he had to put on someone's body from among the Gentiles, even if it wasn't me. But luckily, I was put to use there. It would be a great honor for me personally to be used as an instrument of Christ, but it is only terrifying and trembling that a lack of human beings will be used as an instrument of Christ. Please understand that this is a part that is not easily understood by human thought, and there is a limit to explain it in writing.

Make me your instrument...

   The resurrected and spirited Christ will now use human flesh to save Christians from sin. This is as if using Paul as an instrument to preach the gospel of the kingdom to the Gentiles, this time Jesus will select one of the Gentiles and use them as the instrument of Christ. After knowing this, I couldn't help but weep. There are so many better and smarter people than me in this world, and I have tried to deny myself many times over how they would leave such people alone and use an ignorant person like me as a tool, but I did not have the right to deny it. This was done entirely by the grace of God the Father and of Christ. So you can't claim me any more. Paul said of this case, “God chose the lowly things of the world, the despised things and the things that do not exist, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no flesh should boast before God” (1 Corinthians 1:28-29). I agree 100% with what Paul is saying.

The difference between the Holy Spirit and Christ!

   When I testify like this to many people, most people think of it as an experience of the Holy Spirit. However, since I have already received the Holy Spirit before, the Holy Spirit will not come again. The Holy Spirit was a one-time event. When the 'original sin' of the first man Adam was resolved through the blood shed by Jesus when he died on the cross, the devil was also judged and came down from the throne of the world. (靈) came to rule again. The Gentiles, who had lived under the control of the devil, came under the control of the Holy Spirit because of the merits of the blood that Jesus shed. Through this, even the Gentiles could finally become God's spiritual people.

However, because God's people are sinners still living under God's law (the law of the Holy Spirit), they cannot enter the kingdom of heaven directly like this. Just as the people of Israel, who lived under the law, had to believe in the Son who came in the flesh and finally receive the Holy Spirit to be saved, Christians, who are spiritual people, call on the name of Jesus and receive the Holy Spirit. You must believe in Christ to be saved. This is a law set by God, and no one can change it.

It makes sense for Christians to call it an experience of the Holy Spirit when they tell people that the resurrected Christ has come into me as a Spirit. Since none of the Christians have yet received the 'Spirit of Christ', it may be natural for Christians to say this. But, until I was born again into Christ, I knew the Holy Spirit and the Spirit of Christ to be the same Spirit. So I thought that if I received the Holy Spirit, I would soon be born again into Christ and be saved.

Do not confuse the Holy Spirit with the Spirit of Christ!

   However, Christ came into me and told me that the Holy Spirit (the Father) and Christ (the Spirit of Jesus) are different. He also said that the work of the Holy Spirit and the work of Christ are different. When the Father (the Holy Spirit) gives laws to God's people, the Son (Christ) does the work of saving God's people from their sins, who have broken God's law. The people of Israel went through the same process and came to salvation. This is what we call “the law and the gospel”. But the Law and the Gospel did not apply only to Jews, but to Gentile Christians as well. God sent the “spiritual law” to the Gentiles through the Holy Spirit, and sent the resurrected Christ as the perfecter of the “spiritual gospel.”

Believe in the Risen Christ!

   When I speak to you with emphasis on the Spirit of Christ, I am not emphasizing the Spirit of Christ by ignoring the Holy Spirit. Gentiles cannot lead a life of faith unless they receive the Holy Spirit. For this reason, Christians are people who basically receive the Holy Spirit and live by faith, so they focus on the Spirit of Christ rather than the Holy Spirit. This is because Christians living under the law of the Holy Spirit must believe in the risen Christ to receive the forgiveness of sins against the Holy Spirit and enter eternal life.

The fact that the risen Christ has come again before us Gentiles is a great hope for Gentiles. Through Christ, the door of salvation was opened wide to unbelievers, heretics, and also to those involved in other religions. And for Christians who have rebelled against the Holy Spirit, it cannot but be an even greater hope. The reason is that now the way has been opened for Christians to receive the forgiveness of their sins and enter the kingdom of heaven. There will be God's punishment for those who forsake this opportunity, say they are saved by the Holy Spirit, and reject Christ, who has come as the Spirit of Resurrection.

Human free will!

   As soon as Jesus came into my heart as a Spirit and was born, a huge change came in my life right away. As all Christians feel, when we live under the Holy Spirit, even if we live as we please, the Holy Spirit does not have much control over us. The reason is that the Holy Spirit came to give “spiritual law” into the hearts of Christians. But when Jesus enters my heart and is born, I am not living according to my will, but completely according to the will of Christ. Seeing this, I deeply realized why Christians go to the Fall even after they receive the Holy Spirit.

What I didn't know when I was living under the Holy Spirit, but now I know for sure through Christ, the Holy Spirit only acts as a “spiritual law” in the hearts of Christians, so Christians do not interfere in their sins. However, if Christians do not live according to the will of the Holy Spirit, it becomes a sin before God, so Christians are locked up under the law of the Holy Spirit. Jesus, who was resurrected and ascended into heaven to save Christians imprisoned under the law of the Holy Spirit from their sins, came again as a spirit before the Gentiles.
