one who sows and one who reaps

A farmer sows seeds in spring to get a bountiful harvest in summer and autumn. God also farms like a farmer. It was Abraham who was in charge of sowing the seeds in the spring; it was Jesus who was in charge of gathering the summer fruits from among the Israelites; it was Jesus who came as a type of Isaac, and it was the harvesting of wheat from among the Gentiles in the autumn harvest. The person in charge is the spiritual Son of God who comes as a type of Jacob.

When God called Abraham from Ur of the Chaldeans and gave him Isaac and Jacob as his descendants, it foreshadowed the Son of God who would be sent to the Jews and Christians in the future. Through Jesus, who came in the flesh as God had promised, some of the summer fruits were harvested from among the Israelites, and now there is only one last thing left to do is to gather some autumn grains from among the Gentiles.

Just as a farmer gathers the weeds after the autumn harvest is over and burns them, so God, through His Son, will gather the chaff and the weeds and burn them. In the days of Noah, he judged by water, but in the last days, the evil of mankind is so prevalent that they are all burned with fire.

“Now by the same word the heavens and the earth were kept for fire, reserved for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly” (2 Peter 3:7).

Just as a farmer gathers only the grains after the harvest and puts them into the barn, God only had to harvest the grains from among the Gentiles. From the perspective of Christians, they can protest, saying, “We are people who believe in Jesus and have received the Holy Spirit and have already become children of God. However, Christians are now waiting for the harvest, not the grains that have entered the master's barn through the hand of his son. There are still a lot of chaff and tares among Christians. Therefore, the tricky task of picking the grains from among them remains.

Because Christians believe in Jesus and receive the Holy Spirit, they may know that they are already grain, but Christians cannot call it grain because only the 'original sin' created by Adam has been resolved through the shedding of Jesus' blood. It is only half successful and half remains unfinished. The Jews thought they were justified by the law, but they too were sinners. In order for Christians to become grain, they must not call on the name of Jesus who came to the land of Israel, but must believe in the Son who will come to the Gentiles spiritually to become grain.

Because the Israelites also lived under the law for about 2,000 years, they thought they were summer fruits that they could eat soon. But no one can be a good fruit by law. The purpose of God giving the law to the people of Israel was to convince them of their sins, but the Jews did not know it and wanted to be justified by the law. However, since the law is a law that no one can keep, the Israelites must receive forgiveness of sins through the Son sent by God to become the perfect summer fruit.

Likewise, Christians today are all sinners now living under the law of the Holy Spirit. But because they believed in Jesus and received the Holy Spirit, they are mistakenly thinking that everyone has become wheat. However, the Gentiles who lived without God's law did not enter into full salvation even if they believed in Jesus and received the Holy Spirit, but began their first life as people under the law (the Holy Spirit) given by God. In this way, the history of Christianity, which began with the early church, has been over 2,000 years old. However, none of the Christians live according to the Holy Spirit completely. The reason Christians cannot live by the Holy Spirit is because the hearts of Gentiles are all corrupted by sin.

When we ask Christians, “What are you going to do with your sins every day?”, it is believed that Jesus took on all our sins and died on the cross, so after we die, Jesus will take care of everything. I really think it is. If Jesus really takes care of all our daily sins, what do we have to worry about? But it is worrying because that is not the case.

What Christians need to know is that Jesus, who came in the flesh, solves the sins of the Jews when they disobeyed the law (Isaiah 53), but the spiritual sins committed by Christians against the Holy Spirit must be solved through the Son who came to the Gentiles spiritually. To put it simply, to the Jews who lived under the law, they must believe in Jesus who came in the flesh to be saved, and to the spiritual people who live under the Holy Spirit, they must believe in the Son who has come spiritually. This is also a law set by God, and no one can change it.

The fact that God caused the Israelites to escape from Egypt and enter the land of Canaan shows in advance how God's people who will be saved will enter the kingdom of heaven. Egypt means this world under the control of Satan. Therefore, when God had the Israelites cross the Red Sea following Moses, it meant a break from this world. And the giving of the law through Moses at Mount Sinai tells what the Israelites will have to live under the law in the future.

And the fact that the people of Israel left behind Moses, whom they believed and followed so far, and followed Joshua, the new leader, into the land of Canaan, tells us that in the future they will leave behind the things God's people gave them as models and enter the kingdom of heaven through the new leader, Jesus. . This means that not only Jews but also Christians today will enter the kingdom of heaven only after going through this process.

Therefore, the salvation journey of Christians today is like Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt, crossing the Red Sea, passing through the Wilderness of Paran, and arriving at Mount Sinai to receive the Law. In other words, Christians also call on the name of Jesus (cross the Red Sea) and receive the Holy Spirit (Law), and now they are living as God's spiritual people, living a life of faith (living in the wilderness) centered on the church.

However, just as the Israelites did not complete their salvation just because they crossed the Red Sea, Christians also do not enter into complete salvation because they are all sinners living under God's law. In order for Christians to enter complete salvation, they must leave behind Moses (the pastor) who has led them so far and follow the new leader Joshua (spiritual son) into the land of Canaan. Those who think that they have already arrived in the land of Canaan are being deceived by Satan.

Christians must leave behind the leaders (pastors) who have guided them so far, and from now on, everyone must follow the new leader. A new leader is someone who, like Paul, has Christ in his heart. Just as Jesus, who ascended to heaven, entered Paul's heart as 'light (spirit)', the new leader who will come before Christians is also one who has Christ in his heart like Paul. All Christians must follow him and enter the land of Canaan to enter into full salvation.

What we need to realize through Moses is that the leader who led the saints in the beginning does not lead the saints to the end. Moses led the Israelites all the way to Mount Sinai, but he also did not enter the land of Canaan. Moses still begged God to say that his eyes and ears were not blind, but God did not allow it in the end. When Moses heard God's voice, he immediately gave up everything and stepped back. This is the image of a leader who hears and obeys God's voice (Deuteronomy 31).

Likewise, the ministers who are used as the Holy Spirit today are beings like Moses. In the meantime, he has traveled all over the world evangelizing unbelievers so that they can call on the name of Jesus and receive the Holy Spirit, just like Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt (the world), crossing the Red Sea, and arriving at Mount Sinai to receive the law. it's the same Their toil and sweat will all be remembered by God, and like Moses, He will pay a price commensurate with them.

However, it would be good for Christian workers today, like Moses, to hear the voice of God (the Holy Spirit) and immediately hand over the flocks to Joshua, but if that is not the case, problems arise. God says that the pastors who have led the saints so far cannot enter the land of Canaan any more. If so, the baton must be passed on to the new leader, and the question is whether Christian pastors will accept it. The Bible clearly states, “The first thing was abolished so that the second might be established” (Hebrews 10:9). Perhaps, this will act as a major stumbling block for those who have not given up on their greed.

Those who say that the saints are their flock and do not hand over the saints to Joshua are those who defy God directly. Moses brought a large number of people, but when God said that they could not enter the land of Canaan, he handed the baton to Joshua without a word. But today, pastors do not hand over the baton to Joshua, claiming that the saints are their flock. These people are not pastors established by the Holy Spirit, but are paid pastors or false pastors who have become pastors on their own. These are the ones who bring their own destruction.

So, what about the saints below? They have to follow Joshua into the land of Canaan, but false pastors are blocking them from entering, so they will eventually be bitten and killed by wolves (the devil) in the wilderness (the world). The saints under such people must escape us by themselves and come to Joshua. That is why it is said that in the last days, we must meet the servants of the Lord well. Such people are making the saints a ship or a child of hell.

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, for you shut the gates of the kingdom of heaven before men, and you neither enter nor let those who are trying to enter in.” (Matthew 23:13)

But on the contrary, the servants raised up by the Holy Spirit are those who listen to the voice of God like Moses, so if God tells His Son to hand over the sheep, they will pass it over without a word like Moses. This is the difference between a false pastor and a pastor who is used as the Holy Spirit. “Therefore, it is true that one man sows and another reaps” (John 4:37).  It is all Christians who have sowed the seeds of heaven in the world so far. But it is the Son of God who reaps the fruit. “That the sower and the reaper may rejoice together” (John 4:36).

In the world's agriculture, those who sow the seeds reap until the last harvest, but in the kingdom of heaven there are those who sow and those who reap. This is because all human beings are imperfect because they live under sin, so God had to sow the seeds of heaven through the servants appointed by the Holy Spirit. “If the first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no need for the second one” (Hebrews 8:7).

Paul also says in 1 Corinthians 13:10, “When the perfect comes, all the partial things will be put to nothing.” Here, 'perfect' refers to those who, like Paul, have received the Spirit of Christ in their hearts, and 'partially' refers to the gifts of the Holy Spirit given to Christians so far. The gift of the Holy Spirit was given to believers in order to evangelize unbelievers and make them God's people. God's people still live under the law of the Holy Spirit and are sinners. Therefore, only after passing through the hand of the Son, will they enter the wheat barn of God.

The process of obtaining salvation for God's people is accomplished through a three-step process. The first step is the crossing of the Red Sea by the Israelites following Moses following their exodus from Egypt. And passing through the Wilderness of Paran and receiving the Law through Moses on Mount Sinai is a two-step process. Lastly, following Joshua into the land of Canaan is a three-step process. This process recorded in the Bible shows the salvation process of God's people who need to be saved in the future, and it shows not only the Jews but also the salvation of today's Christians through the big picture.

Even after the Israelites settled in the land of Canaan, the three-step process of salvation continues. The first step is for the Israelites to come to Jerusalem (or circumcision), and the second step is to sacrifice cattle and sheep on the Sabbath day according to the law. Lastly, believing in Jesus who came in the flesh is the three-step process. The Jews could enter the kingdom of heaven only after going through all three stages.

Today's Christians, like Jews, have to go through a three-step process before they can enter the kingdom of heaven. The first stage is when Christians first live as Gentile unbelievers and then receive evangelism and believe in Jesus. The next step is to believe in Jesus, receive the Holy Spirit, and live a life of faith under the 'spiritual law'. And the last step is to believe in Jesus, who ascended into heaven as the 'Christ Spirit' when he comes back to the Gentiles through man. However, the Christian's three-step process has not yet arrived. But soon the time will come, and soon the spiritual Lord will be revealed. Only then will the three-step process take place.

To explain the Christian's three-stage salvation process compared to the Israelites at the time of the Exodus, the Christian's first stage is the same as the process of the Israelites crossing the Red Sea after they escaped Egypt, and the Christian's second stage is the wilderness that the Israelites wanted. It is the same as when they passed through and lived under the Law through Moses at Mount Sinai, and the 3rd stage of Christians is the same process as when the Israelites followed Joshua into the land of Canaan.

However, they are not entering the land of Canaan because a new spiritual leader like Joshua has not yet appeared before the Christians. However, like the Israelites, they are staying in the same two-step process as when they arrived at Mount Sinai and received the Law through Moses and lived under it. The proof is that all Christians are sinners who live under the present spiritual law. Therefore, Christians are not people who are currently saved, but they are still objects to be saved.

Christians may think of the three-step process as follows to rationalize themselves. One could say that the Old Testament is the first stage, the New Testament is the second stage, and the present moment of believing in Jesus is the third stage. At first glance, it sounds like a plausible statement, but it doesn't match at all. If interpreted that way, the Israelites can think of the first stage from Genesis to Noah, the second stage from Abraham to the prophet Malachi, and the third stage when John the Baptist cried out for repentance. Then, all Jews should be able to enter the kingdom of heaven without needing to believe in Jesus. However, those who do not pass the God-given method will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

God is not like other people, so He is fair in front of all people. Therefore, if God made Jews to be saved after going through the three-step process, He also requires Christians to be saved only after going through the three-step process. This is the fairness of God. However, if Jews go through a three-step process to gain salvation and Christians only go through one or two steps to gain salvation, God becomes an unfair God. If that happens, the souls of the Jews who have been thrown into the fire of hell will daily complain that they are injustice before God.
