   .

one who does not stumble

In Matthew 11, when John was in prison for rebuking King Herod, he heard what Jesus had done and sent his disciples to say, “Are you the one who is to come? Shall we wait for another?” There is a scene asking. Then Jesus answered, “Go and tell John what you hear and see, saying, The blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have the gospel preached.” Then he goes on to say, “Blessed is anyone who does not stumble because of me.”

Why did Jesus not say, “I am the Son of God ,” but use the above words instead? The reason is that there were many people who deceive people with magic at that time and those who practice tricks in the name of God, so it is to discriminate against them. Another reason is that no one in the land of Israel has shown such a sign until now, so if you see such a sign on someone, you should know that he is the son of God.

What we need to take seriously today is the words, “Blessed is anyone who does not stumble because of me.” In our opinion, since all the people of Israel lived their lives serving God diligently, of course, the Son sent by God could be trusted as well. Why did Jesus say such a thing? The reason can be found in the fact that they did not put down themselves when they heard these words.

Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and was without sin. When he came up after being baptized in the Jordan River, the Spirit of the Father came upon the soul of Jesus without sin. Jesus is the first to have the Holy Spirit indwell in man. The Holy Spirit took hold of the pure heart of Jesus and worked. Jesus also said, “My Father works, and I work” (John 5:17) . After all, everything that Jesus did was done by God. This is to say that 'Emmanuel', that is, God is with us.

In the meantime, God, who had spoken through angels and prophets, appeared in human form directly before human eyes. However, the Israelites were completely unaware that he was the son of God. They are people who have believed in only one God for 2,000 years, but they do not know everything about God. To know God properly, Christ, not the Holy Spirit, must come into the human heart.

It was with this in mind that Jesus said, “Blessed is he who does not stumble because of me.” The reason the people of Israel had no choice but to stumble upon hearing the words of Jesus was because they were living a life of faith that was contrary to the will of God. They misunderstood what was given as a type of Christ as reality. And they misunderstood and believed the law that was given to them to realize sin as the law of justification. Because of this evil, their hearts were lifted up and they could not believe in the Son God had sent, and they went down the road of destruction.

Then, if the spiritual Son of God comes before Christians today, how will Christians accept him? Would you welcome him with open arms? Or will we reject him as a heretic monster like Jesus who came to the land of Israel? Because Christians are no different from Jews, in nine out of ten they will reject him as a heretic.

It seems that Christians do not neglect the Son sent by God, using the mistakes of the Jews as a mirror, but in reality, like the Jews, the cause can be found in the fact that they mistakenly believe what God has given as a type of Christ. And the second cause can be found in the belief that all Christians are saved with the law of the Holy Spirit, which God has given to them to realize their sins in the hearts of Christians.

In the meantime, Christians have healed diseases and cast out demons through the various gifts of the Holy Spirit. However, this is only a process to reveal God's signs to unbelievers so that unbelievers can believe in Jesus and receive the Holy Spirit to create God's spiritual people on earth. However, Christians misunderstand it as the process of salvation to enter the kingdom of heaven.

Since the people of Israel are born under the law, there is no need to evangelize and make God's people. However, since Gentiles are people who have lived like dogs and pigs, they must first evangelize and create God's people. Because there is the effect of blood in the name of Jesus, God sends the Holy Spirit to those who call on the name of Jesus as evidence that their original sins have been forgiven. When Gentiles call on the name of Jesus and receive the Holy Spirit, they become God's people. However, as a citizen, you cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. To say that we have become God's people on earth is only an invitation to enter the kingdom of heaven.

God's purpose is to first gather God's people from the earth and then send His Son to select those who will enter the kingdom of heaven. However, today's Christians are unaware of this fact and mistakenly believe that if they become God's people, they will enter the kingdom of heaven. This is exactly what Matthew's gospel said, "Many are called, but few are chosen" (Matthew 22:14). If we apply the preceding words to Christians, it means that today, there are many who believe in Jesus and receive the Holy Spirit to become Christians and go to heaven, but there are few who believe in the spiritual Son sent by God and are chosen to go to heaven. Those who do not understand this will soon find out.

At the time of Jesus, the Israelites were numerous. However, not all of the Israelites at that time entered the kingdom of heaven, but only those who believed in Jesus, who came in human form, as the Son of God. Among them, those who were justified by the law did not come before Jesus, but on the contrary, those who were ill in disobedience to the law appeared before Jesus and were healed and saved. To say that those who lived under the law were healed means that their sins against the law were forgiven.

Today, it is said that there are about two billion Christians worldwide. So, can all Christians today go to heaven without any problems? Christians, too, are now citizens, so no one can enter. The reason is that all Christians have rebelled against the Holy Spirit and their hearts are sick with sin. If the heart is sick, the disease (sin) must be healed. Without it, no Christian can enter heaven.

When the people of Israel, who received the law in the flesh, disobey the law, their body became sick because of sin. The reason Christians today are becoming more and more depraved is because they are all sick in their hearts. Those who disobey the Holy Spirit and are sick in their hearts have committed great sins against God. Therefore, sin against the Holy Spirit is never healed by the gift of the Holy Spirit or in the name of Jesus. In order to be healed of the sin of disobeying the Holy Spirit, you must believe in Christ who comes as the Spirit before the Gentiles.

Christ, who comes as the Spirit before the Gentiles, does not cure the physical ailments of Christians like the gift of the Holy Spirit, but heals the ailments of the Christians' hearts. When Christ, who came as the Spirit, heals the diseases of the heart, it means that He will solve the problem of sin of Christians.

Christ, who came as a Spirit before the Gentiles, “will see, the spiritual lame will walk, the spiritual leper will be cleansed, the spiritual deaf will hear, the spiritually dead will be raised, and the spiritually poor will see. The gospel will be preached to them.” Spiritual refers to the state of the mind. But since Christ, who comes before the Gentiles as a Spirit, comes through man, Christians will not easily recognize him. That is why Jesus is saying that he will come as a thief.

Those who do not put themselves down among those who hear the word of Christ who came as the Spirit before the Gentiles will not believe in the Son. The reason they stumbled is that the life of faith given to Christians through the Holy Spirit was a model of the Christ to come. Nevertheless, all Christians believed it to be a reality. Also, the Holy Spirit was sent to those who call on the name of Jesus to understand the sins of Christians.

Here are a few examples where Christians are bound to stumble! For example, when Jesus, who came through man as the Spirit, said to Christians, “You have to believe in me to enter the kingdom of heaven,” how many Christians would immediately hear that? Moreover, these days, there are many fakes disguised in the name of Jesus, making it even more difficult to find and believe in the Son sent by God. Christians will assert that they can distinguish the real from the fake, but since all Christians have not yet taken off their bodies, it is never easy to believe in Christ who came as a thief in spirit.

Just as Jesus, who came to the land of Israel, destroyed the temple in Jerusalem and told them to believe in me, how will Christians today accept this if the chapel that Christ, who has come as a Spirit before Christians, has given as a model of Christ during this time will be abolished and said, “Believe in me”? Perhaps all Christians will stand up and try to kill him right now.

When Christ, who came as the Spirit, says, “Believe in me,” he means that he has gone to a tangible church built with human hands and worshiped under the model, but Christ who came as the Spirit will abandon the tangible church and build an intangible church in the hearts of Christians. . However, Christians who have not been able to get rid of the lust of the flesh will not understand the words of Christ and will try to kill him as a heretic monster. In the end, if this happens, Christians also worshiped in the name of Jesus to die for about two thousand years, but they could not put down their thoughts and they would stumble. How many times in the Bible Jesus said that He would come again before the Gentiles.

“Therefore remember how you received and how you heard, keep and repent, unless you awaken, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come upon you” (Revelation 3:3).

However, Christians misunderstand these words of Jesus as the Second Coming Jesus in the air. This is a very erroneous judgment by Christians. The second coming of Jesus in the air is that the first dead in Christ and those who were sealed with wheat on the earth will be resurrected in spirit and come to meet them in the air. The work of saving sinners will be carried out first.

The way for Christians not to stumble when they hear the words of Christ who comes in the Spirit must be deeply engraved with the fact that they are sinners who have disobeyed the Holy Spirit. Only then can we believe in Christ who comes as the Spirit. But those who justify themselves will never be able to believe in Christ, who comes as the Spirit, because their hearts are exalted with pride.
