wheat and chaff

God has foreseen many things in all things that we humans can understand and change. However, foolish people do not realize the things that God foresaw and just let them go. Even if a person sees all things and realizes the providence of God, there are too many cases of failure because they cannot put it into practice.

The hot and boring summer has passed and now the harvest season, autumn, has returned. Even grains that have withstood even the strong winds and rains are now bearing fruit and waiting for their master's touch. Among them, there will be well-ripened grains, but there will also be chaffs that have lost their stamens due to frequent rains and typhoons. It is unfortunate, but the chaff is not full, so it cannot enter the owner's granary and is thrown away.

When you look at the rice with its head raised when it is harvest time, it is also mixed with blood (tares) that humans cannot eat. When they grew up together in a paddy field, they looked so similar to rice that it was hard to tell them apart, so I left them alone. The farmer can no longer leave the weeds alone in the paddy fields unless they know the identity of the weeds.

The reason the farmer must first pull the weeds out of the paddy field before harvesting is that if left alone, there is a risk that it will be mixed into the grain during harvest, and that the seed may fall into the paddy field and grow again the next year. Seeing that the weeds grow again the next year, even if no one deliberately planted them, it seems that the weeds have a strong vitality. Just as there are grains, chaff, and tares in grain, there are also wheat, chaff, and tares among those who live by faith. To distinguish these people, we must first know how to find the wheat, chaff, and tares in the grain.

A farmer sows rice seeds on a seedling plate in the spring, and when the rice grows to a certain extent, the seedling is transplanted from one paddy to another. And in summer, weed weeding hard to get rid of all kinds of weeds. They also fertilize the rice so that it grows well, and spray pesticides diligently to prevent it from getting damaged by pests and diseases.

When rice grows, you can see that it also grows with blood. This blood is so similar to rice that it is indistinguishable from rice by ordinary people's eyes. In the summer, wearing straw hats deeply, farmers go into paddy fields to do what is called pisari, which is to draw blood in advance in order to prevent even a little bit of this because the shaggy steals all the nutrients from the rice and eats it.

However, this is not something everyone can do. This is something only professional farmers can do. Young urbanites who have never built a farm to help out with work go into the paddy fields and do this, and they will pull out all intact rice without fail. That's why it's hard to pick out this bloody guy. This guy always grows naturally among the rice stalks, but when pulled out, the roots are stronger and the stems are stronger than that of rice. As a result, even if it is damaged by pests and diseases, the rice dies first, not this one first.

In this way, even the weeds that have been sown by the farmer steal all the nutrients they have sown, and in the fall they always stick their heads out to bear fruit. Farmers can't tell the difference in summer, so they just leave it alone, but when the blood comes out in the fall, they go into the rice fields without fail, pull out all of them and burn them.

The chaff and the tares are fundamentally different. Although the chaff has the same seed as the wheat, it is so because the inside is not ripe, but the weeds are different from the original seed. That is why Jesus also says about the weeds, “While people were sleeping, their enemy came and sowed weeds among the grain and went away” (Matthew 13:25) . If you look at the blood growing together in the paddy fields, it is difficult to tell them apart because they are so similar to rice. The tares are growing in the wheat while disguising their identity so thoroughly.

The growth process of wheat and tares was examined through a single plant. This scene has nothing to do with our religious life. So Jesus also used the parable of the tares to explain the growth process of the wheat and the tares. Even now, the tares always seem to have stronger roots and stronger stems than the real ones. That is why many people who do not stand in the truth are deceived by false pastors and false prophets and follow them.

Even at the time of Jesus, there were far more people who listened to the words of those belonging to the chaff and weeds than those who heard the words of Jesus, the wheat, and followed them. This is still the case today. Because they do not stand in the truth, they look better than they are, and they are flocking to places where tens of thousands of people gather, thinking that God has blessed them. This can be said to be the characteristics of only the weeds, just as we looked at the appearance of the weeds when they grow in the rice fields.

Also, a chaff believer is a person who has not been forgiven of the sins in his heart because he did not believe in a spiritual son, even though he lived the same life of faith. If the sins in your heart are not forgiven, your old self (dead spirit) will remain. This is just like growing the same rice in the same paddy field, but not being able to withstand rain and wind and typhoons, and the stamens fell off, making the stomach less full.

The foolishness of man is that he is following lies without knowing whether he belongs to the weeds or the true grain. I wish I could see my true self, but since there is no spiritual mirror to reflect my face in this world, I have no idea who I really are and I am living following lies. Even if the Son of God, who became the light, comes and tries to shed light on who he is, he does not want to accept it. This is the human form living in darkness.

But now, in the fall, all of these things have to stick out their heads, so who they really are will be revealed. Just as the blood that grew along with the rice in the rice fields earlier in the fall has no choice but to reveal their identities when it comes to autumn, humans too, when it comes time to harvest, are to stick their heads out and reveal their identities. Then there is no way to escape. Also, there's no way to justify it's not. What's the use of sticking out your head and saying no to the weeds already bearing fruit?

Just as a farmer went into a paddy field, uprooted the roots of the weeds in advance and burned them all, so the chaff and the weeds believers are selected in advance and thrown into the fire. This is why believers are judged before unbelievers. Because the unbelievers did not know anything, they tormented God's people even more, but the believers only tormented God's children even more by believing that they believed. Also, because they ate and ate all the delicious nutrients, the judgment that follows is also great.

The Israelites who lived under the Law believed that they were all wheat. But the Bible makes it clear that they are not wheat. In order for the Israelites born as sinners to become grain, they must believe in the Son God sent and receive forgiveness of their sins. However, the people of Israel who lived under the Law had mistakenly thought that if they sacrificed cattle and sheep before God, all their sins would be blotted out. However, the Bible records that the blood of animals cannot take away the sins of man. The Israelites, who lived under the law, no matter how hard they practiced their faith and kept all the ordinances of the law, if they did not believe in Jesus who came in the flesh, their sins would remain and they could not be saved.

“For the blood of bulls and goats cannot take away sins” (Hebrews 10:4).

Christians today, like the Jews, consider themselves children of God and the grain. However, just as Jews offered all kinds of sacrifices before God and failed to yield any fruit, Christians too, no matter how earnestly worshiped in the name of Jesus, cannot be fruitful through such actions. Christians must also believe in Christ who comes spiritually to the Gentiles and be born again in order to become a grain.

It is a big deal if you receive the seeds sown by your enemies before they bear fruit and grow into weeds. From now on, we must obey the words of the Master of eternal life and produce fruits within ourselves that are worthy of the Master's eyes. Otherwise, I too will not be able to escape the judgment of fire.

Then, why did the Gentiles not come to fruition even though they believed in Jesus, whom the Jews did not believe in, and even received the Holy Spirit? This is because, in a word, the lives of Jews who lived under the law were completely different from the lives of Gentiles who lived like dogs and pigs without any laws. As explained above, Jesus came in the flesh only to solve the sins of the people of Israel who lived under the law (sin against the law) in the flesh.

If the believers fail to live by the law, God's curse will fall on the spiritual people just like the Jews. The proof is that the hearts of Christians are all sick and dying. And the reality is that the hearts of believers are getting harder and harder. This is similar to how Jews who broke the law became physically ill.

Like the Jews, in order to free those who have broken the law of the Holy Spirit from God's curse, the spiritual Son of God must come to the Gentiles and solve the problem of sin. The reason God sends His Son even before the Gentiles is so that the spiritual people can solve the sins they have committed in their hearts. Only when the spiritual people believe in the Son of God who comes in this way can their sins in their hearts against the Holy Spirit be forgiven and they can enter into complete salvation.

The characteristic of the weeds is that most people use the words of Revelation that are not well understood. The book of Revelation is a secret book hidden by God, a book that will never be opened unless the Lamb opens it. However, the weeds that are being instigated by the devil are cleverly using the words of Revelation to deceive the members of the church. They say that there is no salvation unless you are among the 144,000. This is absolutely absurd.

They use these words because they are most effective in deceiving innocent church members. In fact, the 144,000 mentioned in the Book of Revelation are about the sons of God who have been entrusted with the work of Christ. Gentiles must believe the words of the sons of God to enter into full salvation. However, Satan's minions slightly change this into a saved number and use it to scare the members of the church and force them to believe. This is because they believe that members will flock to their church. The tares have no idea that they belong to the tares. Would you be there if you knew you belonged to the weeds?

In fact, there is a lot of responsibility in the established churches for not properly educating their members. The reality is that members of established churches who cannot always shake off their anxious hearts even though they believe in Jesus and receive the Holy Spirit, are wandering here and there to find something more secure in their salvation when they are unable to relieve their frustrations at church. However, there is no one anywhere in the world who can relieve the frustration of human beings. The only person who can solve it is a spiritual son sent by God.

Even the devil knows this all too well. That is why they, too, are intent on trying to deceive even one more church members and put them under their feet, no matter what they do before the real Son of God comes. We need to be reminded that the devil used false prophets to deceive the saints, knowing that Jesus would come before the Israelites as well.

Just as all plants reveal their identity at the time of harvest, when the spiritual God's Son comes to the Gentiles, all false leaders including tares will also reveal their identity. So the tares will first be uprooted by the harvesters and thrown into the fire before the wheat is harvested, and the chaff that has not been regenerated into Christ will also be cast away from the earth. But those who believe in the spiritual Son will become wheat and enter the master's barn. This is the last process of salvation for the Gentiles. When this process is over, God will judge this world where evil is pervasive with fire.
