Cain and Abel

We must know exactly what God's purpose is through the sacrifices offered by Cain and sacrifices offered by Abel. And, after Adam and Eve disobeyed God's word and ate the fruit, as a result, we must carefully examine how sin works through humans.  Genesis 4 records that Adam had several children besides Cain and Abel, but the Bible records only the story of Cain and Abel, excluding any other children. The reason is that God separates the good from the evil. We need to know in detail how God considers some good and some evil through Cain and Abel.

When Adam lived, not long after the world was created, everyone brought their produce and went before God. Farmers made sacrifices to God with the produce of the land, and pastoralists sacrificed animals to God. If there had been a fisherman at that time, he would have made a sacrifice to God with the seafood he caught from the sea.  In Genesis 4 we read, “ Abel was a shepherd, and Cain was a farmer!” And “After the years passed, Cain sacrificed the produce of the land to the Lord, and Abel himself also offered the firstborn of the sheep and their fat!” It is recorded that

However, while God accepted Abel's wealth, God did not accept Cain's wealth. In this regard, Christians say that God accepted Abel's wealth because Abel offered the sheep symbolizing Jesus, and Cain did not accept Cain's wealth because Cain offered it with grain that had nothing to do with Jesus. Could it be that God really did not accept Cain's wealth because he gave it as grain?

If, as the Christians said, God accepted the riches because Abel gave them as a sheep symbolizing Jesus, and Cain did not accept them because he gave them grain, then God does not deserve to be God himself. The reason for this is that God eventually becomes the riches offered by humans or a covetous one.

When someone brings a gift, humans will judge the other person according to whether the gift brought is expensive or good. Also, you will judge the other person according to how many or few gifts you bring. However, since God is a spirit, unlike corrupt humans, he does not accept gifts that are not offered with a sincere heart. God is a spirit, and He searches the hearts of men. However, Christians do not understand God's deep will, and they are driven by God to be a person who accepts wealth based on the symbolism of wealth, rather than looking at the heart of God's givers.

Because Christians today view God from this perspective, they think that if all Christians unconditionally go to the chapel without any heart and just call on the name of Jesus, all sins will be forgiven and all will be saved. This is just like the way Jews think that if they go to the temple in Jerusalem unconditionally, slaughter cattle and sheep, and offer sacrifices to God, all their sins will be blotted out and they will reach the kingdom of heaven.

The fact that God had Cain and Abel recorded the story of Cain and Abel in Genesis 4 shows very clearly and precisely what kind of heart and attitude humans should have when they come before God. Those who lead a religious life must at least know what God's will is through the story of Cain and Abel, and then realize the essence of human beings.

If they lead a life of faith without fully understanding the story of Cain and Abel, such a person will eventually become a person who calls on God's name only with their lips. What Christians today need to know for sure is that God is never greedy for appearances or wealth like humans do. God accepted Abel's wealth with Abel, not because he offered the sheep symbolizing Jesus, but because he saw Abel's sincere heart and accepted the riches.

Looking at the process of Abel's preparation of the gift, Abel had already decided from the time the mother sheep gave birth to the lamb as a gift before God. Abel devoted all his heart to caring for the mother sheep with her young. And when the lamb was finally born, Abel rejoiced as if her own son had been born, and took care of the lamb as if it were her own. And he offered the lamb as a sacrifice before God. God regarded Abel's heart and devotion as wonderful. The Bible records that he accepted his wealth with Abel.

“The LORD was pleased with Abel and his offering” (Genesis 4:4).

On the other hand, it is written that God did not accept the wealth with Cain. Also, as Christians know, it is not because Cain offered grain that had nothing to do with Jesus, but because Cain did not have sincerity in his heart, so God did not accept the riches.  Let's take a look at the process of Cain's preparation of a gift to God! Because Cain was a farmer, if Cain decided to prepare an offering to God, he should have had a different mindset from the process of preparing the seeds to sow on the ground.

Since he is a farmer, of course, he identifies and prepares faithful seeds, sows seeds in good soil, and takes good care of them so that wild animals and wild birds do not come and peck them when sprouts appear.  And when there are weeds, weeds are removed, and when there is a drought, even water to drink is given, so that the crops can grow well. If it is a grain cultivated with sincerity, it will surely bear good fruit. If Cain had cultivated the grain with such sincere heart and offered it to God as a gift, then why would God not have accepted the riches together with Cain?

A parent has two children, one rich and the other poor. Years passed and my parents celebrated their 60th birthday. The rich son had a lot of money, so he bought a lot of gifts from this and that market. However, the poor son had no money, so he bought fabric at the market and sewed one stitch at a time to carefully make clothes for his parents. At this time, which side of the parents' hearts were more likely to have received the gift of their two sons? Parents who live like Ga-in with a heart will like their son who buys a lot of gifts from the market, but parents with a heart like Abel will of course like a son who sews and makes clothes by hand.

Today, as we go to golden almightyism, it has become a world where anything can be solved with money. But there are some things that money cannot solve. It is the corrupt mind of man. The corrupt human mind is not resolved by anything in this world. The more corrupted minds study, the more they acquire knowledge in the world, the more corrupt they become. It is because of this principle that human beings become more and more corrupt as culture develops. We need to realize more precisely how humans enter the evil path through Cain's life.

“The Lord said to Cain, “What is your wrath, and how is your countenance? If you do not do good, sin is at the doorstep. Its desire is with you, but you must rule over it.” (Genesis 4:6-7)

According to the above verse, Cain was angry with God because he accepted Abel's money but did not accept his own. “How is it that you are angry, and how is your complexion changed?” In other words, it means that he was angry with God and made a blush in his face. God, who saw it, asks Cain, “If you do good, how can you not be respected?” Literally translated, it means, “If you had prepared your gift with sincerity like Abel, how could God not have accepted your wealth?”

However, Cain does not think at all that he has not prepared a gift from his heart, but rather is acting out because God accepted Abel's wealth and did not accept his own. So God said, “If you do not do good, sin is at the door!” If you speak these words, sin will enter your heart if you have not prepared your riches with the utmost sincerity like Abel. When sin enters the human heart, it means that an evil spirit will rule over you. As a result, Cain, rather than repenting of his wrongdoings, went into an evil way by himself.

Looking at the actions of Cain and Abel, we see that the evil and the good are not determined from the beginning, but depending on what kind of actions humans show in the sight of God, they will go either a bad or a good path. God's Word must be the standard for the method of distinguishing between good and evil in humans. Therefore, human beings should not be used as a criterion to distinguish between the good and the evil. Nevertheless, it is very wrong for Christians today to freely condemn and criticize others.

Rather than understanding God's deep will, Christians today are saying that Abel received Abel's wealth because he offered the sheep symbolizing Jesus, and Cain did not receive it because he offered grain. This is a high-level strategy for the evil spirits that control humans to cleverly deceive humans and lose God's original purpose. Countless Christians today, deceived by the subtle tactics of the evil spirit, are thinking that they are all saved if they unconditionally call on the name of Jesus with their lips, even when they give offerings without a heart and worship without a heart.

Today, no matter how many times the name of Jesus is called, worship that is offered without heart is never acceptable to God. Also, no matter how many gifts you give, God does not accept gifts offered without a heart. Today, it is clear that we are approaching God through the name of Jesus, but God is not unconditionally pleased if we just call on the name of Jesus without a heart.

Although the Bible repeatedly emphasizes that God does not look at the outward appearance, but the heart, unlike humans, Christians today accept such words as only the words of the Bible and are listening to them as completely unrelated to them. That is why you and I are thinking of it as a magic wand that makes everything prosper when everyone calls on the name of Jesus. Even in the name of Jesus, there are many people who are trying to achieve their own prosperity and comfort.

From the above verse, we can see that he did not accept Abel because of his riches, but because of Abel's heart. In addition, we can see that Cain did not accept wealth because he gave it in grain, but did not accept wealth because Cain's heart was not contained. When we give gifts, God does not look at our offerings, but looks at our hearts. In order to prepare a gift for God, Abel must have prepared it with all his heart and sincerity, stating that it belonged to God from the moment the sheep gave birth. God saw Abel's heart and received the riches along with Abel.

However, although Cain was a farmer, he did not prepare anything from the beginning, and when the time came to offer sacrifices to God, he would have roughly cut a bunch of grain from the field and presented it to God. This is a very important issue for us today as well. If you go to the chapel with an unprepared heart like Cain today and offer gifts, God will never accept such offerings and worship. No matter how many gifts they give and many worship services in the name of Jesus, these people will never be pleased with God.

Even if we give a thousand thousand won to God as a gift, if we prepare it from the beginning like Abel and offer it to God with all our heart and soul, God will accept the gift together with that person. When God accepts the gift, it also means that God will bless the person. If all the Korean churches today offer gifts and worship before God with the same heart as Abel, the Korean church will receive amazing spiritual blessings from God. However, like Cain, they are turning into splendid saints as they offer gifts and worship with unprepared hearts from the beginning. As a result, it seems that the church has grown from the outside, but the leaders and members of the church are all rotten inside, and the smell is vibrating.

Even now, many churches are doing all kinds of evil by pretending to be Abel (wrapped in the name of Jesus) by pretending to be plausible while acting like Cain on the inside. Starting with the formation of a party and dividing the denominations and denominations, it is actually a phenomenon that occurs in order to find self-interest.  Those with a mind like Cain are talking about the number of church members as if they were a blessing from God, but this is also just a cause, and is actually just a means of propaganda to elevate their honor and further show them off to the world. Salvation must come only through the Son sent by God, but how can those who do not have a perfect heart like Abel forgive the sins of the saints and lead to salvation?

Anyone can call on the name of Jesus. However, it will never open the gates of heaven to those who call on the name of Jesus without a heart like Cain. But to those who knock on the gates of heaven with their hearts like Abel, the Lord will always meet them. Today, Cain and Abel are not separated. Cain and Abel were made by themselves.

Will you enter the path of Cain yourself? It is entirely up to you to decide whether or not to follow Abel's path. God will surely send a spiritual Son of God even before the Gentiles. Because this is what the Bible says, even if heaven and earth change, these words do not change. At that time, those who believed in Jesus without heart, like Cain, would hear what the Lord was saying, and they would become angry and blush. will be.

The people of Israel are people who have been tending sheep for generations. To them, sheep are like their own lives. Jesus, too, grew up watching his people live by tending sheep from an early age. So, he knew the characteristics of sheep better than anyone. For this reason, right after Jesus began his public ministry, he uses the parable of the sheep and the shepherd to explain the relationship between himself and the people of Israel. But the Israelites had no idea who Jesus was.

It is said that sheep only hear and follow their master's voice, and never listen to other people's voices. Then, you should have pondered why Jesus said that when he said, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me!” (John 10:27). However, they can be seen scrutinizing Jesus, asking, "How long will you doubt us?"

In the same way, even today, those who believed with their hearts like Abel will meet the spiritual Son, receive forgiveness of sins, and be saved. Strange things will happen. This is the process by which Christians are divided into wheat and chaff. Therefore, all Christians must now wake up from a deep spiritual sleep and realize deep within their bones that they are sinners who have disobeyed the Holy Spirit. That way, when the Lord comes, you will be able to kneel at the feet of the Lord saying, “I am a sinner.”
