servant and son

King Solomon, son of David, is wiser than all men. God thought of David and gave him riches, honor, and wisdom above all men. Many people flocked from all directions to hear his wise words. That is because Solomon's wise words captured the hearts of people at that time. The anecdote that the queen of Sheba came to meet King Solomon carrying gold and silver and treasure to listen to Solomon's wisdom at that time still teaches us many lessons (2 Kings 10:1-13; 2 Chronicles 9:1-12). ).

If you look at the books of Proverbs and Ecclesiastes written by Solomon, you can guess how wise he was. In the case of two women fighting each other over claiming to be their own, Solomon's decision to split the infant in two with a sword (1 Kings 3:16-28) is still teaching many people a lesson. Because of Solomon's reputation, the people of Israel at that time greatly respected him. And as a wise king, he entrusted everything and was faithful. Solomon's achievements boast the greatest of all kings. Since then, his fame has been passed down through generations and remains vivid in the memory of the people of Israel.

At the end of the 2,000-year history of Israel, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to the land of Israel. However, the people of Israel regarded Jesus Christ as far worse than not only King Solomon, but also all the kings and prophets of Israel. Even though Solomon is a wise king, he is only a type of Christ who will come as king. Prophets, no matter how powerful and talented they may be, are only a type of Christ who will come in the form of a prophet. However, foolish humans did not know this and admired the people who were temporarily used by God, and regarded the Son sent by God as inferior to their feet.

All the characters in the Old Testament, no matter how talented they are and who have received many powers from God, can never surpass the power and authority of Jesus Christ. The kings, prophets, and priests in the Old Testament are all slaves and sinners living under the law. God's use of such people as tools for a short time was only to give them a foretaste of the Christ to come. But foolish humans refused to believe in a son who would save them from their sins and continued to admire their ancestors. The book of Hebrews says, “The first was abolished in order to build up the second” (Hebrews 10:9).

When human beings live under the pattern that God has given as the first, they cannot know the second at all, so they believe that the first is perfect, and they keep trying to settle in it. For example, when the law was given to the Jews, they thought it was the law that made them whole, and they no longer believed in anyone's words. So he didn't even believe in Jesus.

Although Moses did the tremendous work of getting the people of Israel out of Satan's (Egypt) control by the power of God, this does not mean that Moses can give the Israelites eternal rest. This is because he is a servant who is only a tool that has been used by God for a while. However, the Jews of that time and later times described Moses as a great person and constantly admired and admired him. However, no matter how much he respected and admired him, there was no rest that Moses could give the people of Israel. Because Moses is also a sinner and has the limitations of a human being who lives under sin.

Then, why do human beings long for and adore the old people who have disappeared from history rather than believing in the Son of God who appeared before their eyes? The reason is that the Son of God who appeared before our eyes cannot be believed falsely, and we must believe in reality. For example, if you say you believe in the Son of God and do not live according to the will of the Son, lies will be exposed immediately. However, to say that they believe in the people who have disappeared from history, they continue to admire these people because even words do not reveal lies. However, they only have a living mouth, but in reality they are all false believers.

In the 2,000-year history of Israel, at least all the events that occurred before the coming of Jesus were all given as a type of Christ to come. From Abraham to the prophet Malachi, all those who worked to be held in the hands of God are foreshadowing the coming Christ. However, the people of Israel forgot this fact, magnified the achievements of their ancestors, and regarded the Son sent by God as inferior to the feet of their ancestors. Since Jesus came in this dark reality, it may have been natural that they did not believe in Jesus.

However, unlike servants, the Son of God is the One who gives men eternal rest. If the servants are those who work to get God's people out of Satan's hands by the power of God, the Son of God is the one who forgives the sins of God's people and allows them to enter the kingdom of heaven. This is the difference between what servants and the Son of God do.

If you do not know this fact and feel proud that you have been saved by having just become God's people on earth through servants, you will be deceived by yourself (Satan). Today's Christians are no different. Christians, too, are just slaves who live under the law of the Holy Spirit, they are the same sinners, and they are people who have not been born again into Christ. Nevertheless, when Gentile Christians call on the name of Jesus and receive the Holy Spirit and become God's people, they too soon come to 'salvation' and are mistaken for becoming 'children of God'. God's people are still sinners.

The events that have occurred in the 2,000-year history of Christianity so far are all given as the spiritual model of Christ to come. In the history of Christianity that started with the early church, the footsteps left by countless believers in the church also foreshadow the coming Christ. Simply put, just as Moses served as a servant in God's house, the faith workers (pastors) who are used by the Holy Spirit today also served as servants in God's house. A servant is not a son, but a servant. A servant, no matter how much he is used before God, cannot save the people from their sins. Therefore, the slave waits only for the disposition of the master.

“In the same way, when you have done all that is commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants; we have only done what we were supposed to do.

       ” (Luke 17:10)

Nevertheless, rather than believing in the Son of God who will come again as a spirit, he continues to admire only the various characters in the Bible and in the history of Christianity. This is as if the Israelites longed for Moses or Elijah more than they believed in Jesus who appeared before their eyes.

With the end of the prophet Malachi, the people of Israel could not hear the word of God, and the people of Israel were restless. They wondered if God had abandoned them. However, if the people who believe do not hear the word of God, it means that God has already left them. Living without the word of God is like living in darkness for the believing people. Then a ray of light came from the wilderness to illuminate the darkness. That is when John the Baptist appeared, crying out for repentance.

The Israelites, who they thought had been abandoned by God, could not hide their great joy, and all ran to John the Baptist to be baptized. Then John saw the Pharisees and Sadducees also running out to be baptized.  “You brood of vipers, who taught you to flee from the wrath to come? Therefore, bring forth fruit worthy of repentance, and do not think that Abraham was our father! I will make the descendants of Abraham, he will tell you, God is able of these stones deulrodo (Matthew 3: 7-9), "said John, and is pouring enormous blame toward the time of the Pharisees and Sadducees. This is what servants sent by God do.

John the Baptist was born with the revelation of God to prepare the way of the Lord. It seems that he lived in the wilderness where he was born. In addition, the Bible records that he only ate seokcheong for the food he wore on his camel's coat. Also, he was the first to testify to the world that he baptized Jesus in the Jordan River and saw the Holy Spirit coming down on his head, that he is the Son of God, the Lamb that takes away the sins of the world.

Then, when he saw Herod, then king of Judea, taking his brother's wife illegally, he spoke up and was imprisoned. When the disciples who followed him at that time visited him in prison, John went to Jesus and asked him, “Are you the one who is to come? Or shall we wait for another?” He is asking a question that is not John-like at all.

Jesus also referred to John the Baptist as a woman who was the greatest of all eggs, so why did he ask such an absurd question? This is the work of a servant. Since a servant cannot understand the master's will at all, after his duty is completed, he has no choice but to return to his body and make a human voice. Because John the Baptist had already finished his mission, God took God's power (gift) from him. Therefore, he asked such a question because he had already returned to an ordinary human.

Even today, servants sent by God must be able to express God's wrath toward the proud without noticing humans like John the Baptist. Unfortunately, none of today's Christian leaders express God's wrath like John. This means that there is no real paper. Servants whom God does not send are those who minister with carnal thoughts, so they are in a hurry to please people. That's why such people always pick and say things that are good to hear. The saints are also accustomed to such words, so if someone offends them a little, they will soon vomit and stop coming out of the church.

If Jesus came like a thief in front of Christians who were accustomed to such sweet words and pointed out the sins of Christians, would Christians believe and accept those words? Perhaps he will turn around and curse him at once, saying he is unpleasant and hurts his self-esteem. Even more so, even after hearing what the pastors are pointing out, they do not leave the church saying they have been tested. The words of Jesus are words that rip out the wastes of humans, and no one will come out pleasantly after hearing those words. This is the reality of Christians today. Because of the false teachings of the leaders, even Christians are becoming double the children of hell.

The only thing pastors preach in general churches is to read the Bible and release it with the mind of the flesh. Therefore, no matter how much you hear these words, your faith will not grow and your inner person will not change. There is no life in the words conveyed by the mind of the flesh. That is why there is no life in the hearts of those who have heard these words and lived a life of faith. The reason there is no life in the hearts of believers today is because Christ is not in the hearts of those who preach the word. Since the words preached without Christ are not words that save the soul, no matter how gracious the words are, the Christian's inner man does not change either.

If Christians were not slaves, but sons of God who were born again through Christ, this world had already disappeared in flames and had to be destroyed. However, the fact that this world still exists is evidence that the Son of God has not yet appeared before Christians. As the Revelation says, when the sons of God appear and preach the gospel of the kingdom, the world will soon come to an end. After the gospel of the kingdom is preached to the ends of the earth, this world where evil is pervasive will disappear into flames. So, at the end, those who hear the gospel of the kingdom delivered by the Sons of God and believe in the Son who has come spiritually will be sealed with wheat, but those who do not believe in the Son will be classified as chaff and burned.

We must not forget that Christians still live under the law of the Holy Spirit and are sinners. They would like to say that they are not sinners, but saved children of God, but they cannot say that what is not true is true. Even if you cover the sun with your palm, the sun will not be covered. The Pharisees boasted that they must have been saved by the law, but after Jesus came, their lies were all exposed within a hundred days. There should not be even one such person among Christians.

If Christians were not sinners, but perfect sons of God, there would be no need for Christ to come again. However, since they are sinners who live in rebellion against the Holy Spirit every day, the spiritual Christ must come again to save Christians from their sins. As long as they believe in the Son of God, who comes personally through man, Gentiles can receive the forgiveness of all their sins and enter eternal life, regardless of what religion they have been involved in. However, like the Pharisees, those who insist on their salvation until the end, and those who try to achieve salvation through their good deeds, will not believe in the Son. The terrible wrath of God will come upon them.

Although the Jews were clearly God's chosen people, they did not believe in the Son God had sent, so they were dragged away by Hitler, and 600 million people were slaughtered. We Christians must never forget God's terrible punishment for the Jews. Because we are a spiritual people, when we do not believe in the spiritual Son God sent to the Gentiles, we will be punished even more severely than they did.
