Second Coming Christ

“It is appointed for men to die once, and after that comes judgment, so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, appears a second time, without sin, to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. Ciri!”

(Hebrews 9:27-28)

The author of Hebrews says that Jesus will come a second time to save mankind. The first is that He came to the land of Israel in the flesh, and the second is that He will choose one of the Gentiles to come in spirit. However, many people today misunderstand that Jesus is coming a second time. In other words, they call on the name of Jesus who came to the land of Israel and receive the Holy Spirit, and they mistakenly believe that Jesus came the second time and saved them.

But Jesus also clearly states that the Holy Spirit is not the Spirit of Jesus, but the Father's Spirit. “It is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks within you” (Matthew 10:20). Therefore, the Holy Spirit was not given to Christians as the Spirit of salvation, but came to establish God's law for Christians, not the second coming of Jesus.

Others mistakenly believe that Jesus, who returns in the air on the last day of the world, is the second coming Jesus. The reason Jesus returns to the air is to bring up into the air all those who first died in Christ on the last day of the world and those who believed in Him and were saved when Jesus came in spirit before the Gentiles a second time. Therefore, the Jesus who returns in the air is not the second Jesus. Others are already saying that Jesus came to this earth a second time. The reason for this is found in the parable of the fig tree.

“Learn the parable of the fig tree; when its branch is tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. In the same way, when you also see all these things, know that the Son of Man is near, even at the door” (Matthew 24: 32-33)

Their claim is that the fig symbolizes the nation of Israel, and after they lost their country for about 1900 years and lived in scattered places, they considered the independence in 1948 as the second time when Jesus came. So, where is Jesus now?

Another argument cites the new covenant in Jeremiah 31 and says that the church of God that keeps the Passover is where Jesus is. Perhaps they believe that because they are the church that keeps the Passover, Jesus is the one who brings the new covenant by citing the Old Testament. Their argument can be said to be the most foolish thing that has not yet escaped the Old Testament. Therefore, this claim is nothing new, and it speaks completely unrelated to the second coming of Jesus before the Gentiles.

In addition, if you take a look at the stories floating around in the church and on the Internet, there are many different things about Jesus who comes the second time. However, all the words of those who are not directly born again into Christ like Paul are lies and mere nonsense. And all the famous pastors are speaking only partial things about Jesus by the gift of the Holy Spirit, as in 1 Corinthians 13, not people who are completely born again into Christ like Paul.

There is only one master of man, Christ. The words of those who have not been reborn as Christ, however grandiose and plausible they may seem, are in the end only the voices of the dead. In order to save a human soul, one must become a living person, and in order to become a living person, the Spirit of Christ must be present in a person's heart. The Holy Spirit does not come into human hearts, but He came to reveal God's law into our hearts. Christians should never confuse this.

It is necessary to explain in detail how this statement is fulfilled: “He will appear a second time, to bring salvation, apart from sin, to those who wait for him” (Hebrews 9:28). God is Spirit and Word. To say that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit is to say that Jesus was conceived in the body of Mary according to the word of God, and the Word became flesh. Jesus ascended into heaven and immediately took on the glory of the Father.

To say that Jesus ascended into heaven and received the glory of the Father means that Jesus in the flesh became a spiritual being. This means that Jesus also became one who was in spirit or in the word just like God. In this way, the Spirit Jesus is coming before the second Christians through a pre-selected man among the Gentiles. This is the process of Jesus' second coming to this earth.

The second reason Jesus comes before the Gentiles is to save Christians from their sins who have disobeyed the law of the Holy Spirit. Since all Christians are sinners who have disobeyed the law of the Holy Spirit, no one can be free from the law of the Holy Spirit even if they vehemently deny that they are. Then all Christians must face God's severe judgment. “If those who abolished the law of Moses died without mercy on account of two or three witnesses, how much more will the punishment that those who trampled on the Son of God and who regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which they were sanctified, dishonor the Spirit of grace, deserve more punishment. Do you think so?” (Hebrews 10:28-29).

The fact that a person who lived a religious life stood before God's judgment seat also means that his sins were not forgiven. Already, all Christians are doomed to be thrown into the fire of hell because of their sins of disobeying the Holy Spirit. Unbelievers are immediately thrown into the lake of fire without standing before God's judgment seat. However, Christians who disobey the Holy Spirit will stand before God's judgment seat and be judged for their sins.

“It is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment.”

(Hebrews 9:27)

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive according to what he has done in the body, whether good or evil” (2 Corinthians 5:10).

God never wants believers to stand before God's judgment seat. In order to save such people from their sins, God sent His Son before the Gentiles a second time. This is to give the same grace to the Jews who lived under the law, just as he sent Jesus in the flesh. Now, the only way for Christians to be saved from the sin of disobeying God's law (the Holy Spirit) is through the Son of God who comes as the Spirit. Gentiles, regardless of their status, must believe in Jesus, who comes a second time through people.

As a Christian, if you do not understand Jesus coming through people, you need to think carefully about what Jesus did when he entered the heart of the apostle Paul. Before meeting Jesus, the apostle Paul was a Pharisee and a teacher of the law, full of righteousness. Perhaps they had even heard from Jesus that they were the offspring of vipers. Then, after meeting Jesus who came as light (spirit) on the road to Damascus, he changed 180 degrees. The first thing he confessed after he changed was that he considered “all the sciences that I have learned in the world as waste” (Philippians 3:8). And he confessed that he was “the chief among sinners” (1 Timothy 1:15).

Jesus, who comes the second time before the Gentiles, will also come through a person who makes such a confession, just like the Apostle Paul. Only then will sinners be saved. Jesus, who came through man, will save all those who confess that he is a sinner against the Holy Spirit and come out. But those who believe that they have already been saved by the Holy Spirit will never believe in the Son sent by God. The Pharisees also did not believe in Jesus. Through this, the believers will be divided into wheat and chaff, and Jesus, who returns in the air on the last day of the world, will throw away the chaff and select only the wheat to go up (Matthew 3:12, Luke 3:17).

And the word that Jesus will come a second time to those who seek Him regardless of sin is speaking of the original sin committed by the first man, Adam. It refers to those who have been forgiven of their original sins through the blood that Jesus shed. This means that if those who have sinned against the Holy Spirit come to him, they will all be saved from their sins.

Adam's original sin has to be dealt with only once through the blood of Jesus. However, even if the original sin has been resolved, if the self-crime (the sin of disobeying the Holy Spirit) is not resolved, Christians will become sinners who have broken God's law, so all must stand before God's judgment seat. In order to solve this problem of sins of Christians, Jesus is coming to the Gentiles for the second time through people.
