christ type

If we look at what is written in the Bible, we can see that God does not do anything without telling His servants beforehand. Even if you see Abraham who had no children at that time, God did not suddenly give them children one day, but instead appeared before them through an angel and told them in advance that you would have children and gave them Isaac (Genesis 17:15-15; Genesis 21: 1-3). In this way, we can see that God always speaks before carrying out any work, and then proceeds with the work.

Because of this fact, it is said that all the words written in the Bible will be fulfilled without any change, not even one jot, one tittle. However, people who read the Bible say that they believe that the words of the Bible will be fulfilled, but they do not know how the words are actually fulfilled. This is what the Word of Revelation is meant to be interpreted by those who have been born again as Christ, as in the book of Revelation, “Unless the Lamb breaks the seal, no one can correctly interpret the words of the Bible” (Revelation 6:1-17).

Since God has written the things that will happen in the future, there is not a single word meaningless. There were Ishmael and Isaac as descendants of Abraham, but among them, Ishmael was rejected and Isaac was chosen by God to become the promised child. was selected as Here, the forsaken Ishmael refers to the Jews who did not believe in Jesus, and Esau, who was rejected, was also written with the Christian in mind who would not believe in the spiritual Christ who would come before the Gentiles.

You can see that God emphasizes over and over in the Old Testament that Isaac is a type of Jesus who will appear in the land of Israel in the future to save his people from their sins. This fact was well known to the Israeli leaders and people at the time. However, when the Son of God appeared before them, they only had doubts about the Messiah, but no one hadtily accepted Jesus as the Son of God. It is because they looked at the Son of God with their fleshly eyes.

In other words, the Israelites knew for sure that the Messiah would come before them, but had no idea what he would do for them. At that time, there were many lawyers who studied the Bible deeply, but they believed that the Messiah would come and liberate them from Roman oppression if they could only come up with it. So, even though they waited eagerly for the Messiah, when they saw what the Messiah was doing, they saw that they became friends with sinners whom they detested so much, ate and drank, and came to the conclusion that “That man is a fake and should be killed and destroyed.” it was done

like this  No matter how in-depth the Bible is studied, it is a fact that if it does not come from God-given power, it will inevitably lead to such tremendous results. There were many religious leaders, including the high priest who oversaw the temple at that time, but none of them had a correct idea of the Messiah. They all believed that the coming of the Messiah would save them from Roman oppression, and they never thought that he would come and question their sins.

As they only thought of themselves as holy people of Israel (the saved people), they could not have imagined that the Messiah would come and condemn them as sinners. Unable to bear it, they eventually gave up a savior who would forgive their sins to the Romans and crucified them. What's the use of worshiping God for a long time and saying that you believe in God? In the end, we must realize how great things can happen when humans do not realize themselves by looking at the actions of the Jews.

But this is about to happen again. This is because the Messiah will come again before the Gentiles as a type of none other than Jacob. God speaks clearly in advance and carries out certain things. If Isaac foreshadows Jesus who came to the land of Israel, Jacob foreshadows the Messiah who will come before the Gentiles. Otherwise, God would have multiplied the people of Israel with only one Isaac to Abraham.

Nevertheless, God dared to give children even to Isaac, to conceive twins, and to select Jacob from among them, so that the Israelites prospered. What does this mean? It is a foreshadowing of the Messiah to come before the Gentiles. Therefore, God's ultimate purpose is not to choose God's children only from among the Israelites, but to choose God's children from among the Gentiles. In our opinion, it seems 100 times right to abandon Jacob, who is a deceiver who deceives our father and take the place of the firstborn, and choose Esau, a manly and courageous man, but God completely deflects our thinking.

“My thoughts are not your thoughts, saith the LORD, My ways are not your ways, as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts higher than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:9)

In other words, to save the people of Israel from their sins, God gave the type of Isaac to Jesus 2,000 years ago. And exactly two thousand years after that, He sent His Son before the people of Israel. Also, God had already planned what would happen about 4,000 years later. Twins were conceived in Rebekah's womb, but God forsook the older one and chose the younger one, as the Son of God who will come before the Gentiles. It is foreshadowed in advance that you will become

Then, why did God abandon his older brother Esau, who was more manly and courageous, and choose Jacob, a younger brother who was like an earthworm and a deceiver? This is because Jacob foreshadows the Son of God who will come before the Gentiles. Humans judge by the outward appearance, but God judges by the human heart. Strangers are not only wild and ferocious in nature, but also have the temperament of a deceiver. So, God already knew the habits of the Gentiles 4,000 years ago, and the Son of God who will come before the Gentiles is foreshadowing in advance that someone with the same habits like Jacob will come as a son. Through this, we can see that the Son of God who comes before the Gentiles will have the characteristics of being a sinner.

The spiritual Christ who will come before the Gentiles, like Jacob, is foretelling that He will come through a person who is strong enough to wrestle with the angels and overcome, and tough enough to face Esau. Jesus is coming through such a person because all the Gentiles are fierce. In order to uncover the sins hidden in the hearts of Christians who are hardened like stones, we need to pour out the sharp and sharp words of the Lord into their hearts to dig up the hidden sins individually. Then all the Gentiles will see their sins and confess their sins before Christ.

Another type of Jesus coming again is the apostle Paul. It was through the Apostle Paul that Jesus first entered people's hearts as spirit (light). Even though there were 12 disciples of Jesus at that time, the reason why the apostle Paul was chosen as an apostle to the Gentiles was to foreshadow Jesus Christ who would come before the Gentiles. That is, when the resurrected Jesus comes to the Gentiles as a spirit, he is showing in advance that he will come through someone like the apostle Paul. If, without such a type, Jesus suddenly appeared and spoke to the Gentiles through a person, Christians would deny orthodoxy, saying, “Where is such a type in the Bible?” God knew this and made Paul a type of Christ to come before the Gentiles. Regarding this, Jesus also said, “I will go as a thief” (Matthew 24:43-44, Revelation 3:3) .

Saul met Jesus who came as the light (the Spirit of Christ) on the road to Damascus. He was a scribe and a strict Pharisee. After he met Jesus, he changed 360 degrees. And he began to preach the gospel of Christ to the Gentiles. Even though Jesus had His twelve disciples, why did he choose him to be an apostle? It is to preach the gospel of Christ to the Gentiles. The gospel Paul preached to the Gentiles was not just the gospel. Jesus, who ascended into heaven, came into Paul's heart as the Spirit of Christ, and through Paul's mouth, he preached the gospel of Christ to the Gentiles. Paul was beheaded and died around AD 65, leaving behind the words he had written.

After that, many Gentiles came to believe in Jesus after hearing the gospel preached by Paul. When they believed in Jesus, God sent the Holy Spirit as a gift to the Gentiles as well. However, the Holy Spirit that the Gentiles received by believing in Jesus was different from the Holy Spirit that the Israelites received by believing in Jesus. The Israelites were imprisoned under the law and had a hard life for about 2,000 years. Because they believed in Jesus and received the Holy Spirit, they believed in Jesus and received the Holy Spirit, so that they could enter into complete salvation.

Just as the people of Israel who lived under the law were only a model, so are all Christians who are living under the law of the Holy Spirit today. A model cannot bear fruit by itself. Jesus came because the Israelites, who lived under the Law, could not bear fruit on their own. Likewise, Christians today living under the law of the Holy Spirit cannot bear fruit on their own. That is why Jesus, who came to Paul as light (spirit) on the Damascus road, selects one of the Gentiles in advance and comes to him as light (spirit), and then begins the work of bearing the fruit of Christ through him.

The gospel that Jesus preached to the Gentiles through the mouth of Paul gave birth to 2,000 years of Christian history. But for Christians, this is not a substance, but a model, a life of shadows. Now, at the end of two thousand years, Jesus will come again as the Spirit of Christ to pre-select a person like the Apostle Paul from among the Gentiles, and through his mouth he will select wheat and chaff from the Gentiles. After Jesus came as a spirit and finished the work of selecting wheat and chaff from among the Gentiles, then, as the book of Revelation says, the chaff will receive God’s wrath and be burned with the world, and the wheat will be lifted up into the air and put into the barn of God. will go in The words alpha and omega refer to this, and since it started with Jesus, Jesus will end it.

Christ's work, then and now, is only to find and save sinners (Mark 2:17, Luke 5:32). When the Jews who lived under the law brought up their sins against the law and confessed their sins before Christ, Jesus forgave them and brought them all to salvation. Likewise, Christ, who came before the Gentiles, too, when Christians who have received the Holy Spirit come out and confess their sins against the law of the Holy Spirit, Christ will forgive their sins and bring them all to salvation. However, like the Pharisees at the time of Jesus, those who claim to be righteous to the end will not be forgiven for their sins against the Holy Spirit, and they will choose the path of their own destruction.

Today, Christianity, Buddhism, or Islam distinguish between believers and unbelievers, but the Son of God does not consider them at all. If unbelievers also consider themselves righteous, saying, “I have never done anything that would bring me shame on my conscience,” they will also be cast out forever. However, even if a person belongs to Buddhism until now, whoever realizes their sin and comes to the Son will be forgiven of all their sins and enter eternal life.

However, even those who believe in Jesus and become God's people, if they do not come to the Son because they do not realize their sins because they are inspired only by the fact that they are saved, they will be thrown into hell because of their sins of disobeying the Holy Spirit. If we keep in mind the fact that even though Jews believed in their lives to die, they were eventually abandoned because they did not believe in the Son God had sent, Christians today should also listen to this message.
