Parable of Heaven (1)

In the Bible, it is often found that Jesus said nothing except parables. So why did Jesus like to speak in parables? In a word, he spoke in parables because human reason could not understand the kingdom of heaven, that is, the spiritual world. Biblical scholars today claim that he spoke in parables in order to make it easier for people to understand, but these are sayings without knowing one and the other.

The words of Jesus are incomprehensible from the beginning to human beings. It is absurd that humans born on earth can understand the will of the one who came from heaven. God is spirit. It is impossible for such a person to appear in front of humans. All the appearances of Jehovah God before men in the Old Testament were manifestations of angels. It is through his Son Jesus Christ that God first appeared before men.

It is impossible for humans to hear and understand the words of the One who came from heaven like that. That is why Jesus used parables of this world to help humans understand as much as possible. But today, foolish people struggle to understand the Bible by looking at it. They do not know that the more they try to realize it with human knowledge, the more arrogant they become before God.

The Pharisees thought that their own knowledge was better than that of Jesus, so when the Word became flesh and appeared in front of humans, they looked down on him and behaved in such a frivolous way. This is still the case today. Christians think that they are great because they believe in Jesus and have received the Holy Spirit, but in reality, we must not forget that everyone is living under sin.

In the Bible, parables of the kingdom of heaven appear in many places in the Gospels. Various parables about the kingdom of heaven are introduced, from the parable of the sower to the story of the five wise virgins. These parables can be said to clearly show how wrong their thinking is to those who have the idea that if they just go to church today, everyone will go to heaven.

In the words of Matthew 22, the kingdom of heaven is described as like a king who gave a wedding feast for his son. The king sends his servants and orders them to bring in those who are to be invited to the wedding feast. However, the people who asked for it did not want to come. So the king thought, maybe it was because they were too burdened to come to the wedding feast? Or he thought it might be because there was not much to eat for the wedding feast, so he sent other servants this time and said to the people who invited them, “I have prepared a luncheon, and I have prepared my fat cattle and a lot of delicious food, so there is no burden on the wedding feast. Come on,” he says. However, they do not pretend to have heard, and even if there are some who hear the word, they say that they each have a lot to do and do not look back and leave the place.

Not only that, but the evil and naughty people continued to annoy them, and they caught the servants and killed them. Angry at this, the king orders that the army be sent immediately to destroy the murderers and burn the town with fire. The king here is God, and the son is Jesus. And the servants sent by the king are prophets. The wedding feast refers to the marriage between the Son of God and the people of Israel, and the people invited are the Israelites.

But the people who were invited did not want to come to the wedding feast. Why did they not want to come to the delightful wedding feast? The reason is that they are people who have already been recognized as children of God. Even so, those who felt a little remorse in their conscience saying that they were the Son of God all went their own way, saying they had to plow the fields in front of the servants sent by the king. will be.

These facts are already vividly proven by the Bible and the history of Israel, so these are facts that even Samcheok-dong will know if you are attending a church today. So, what kind of relationship do Christians have with this verse? Verse 14 says, “Many are called, but few are chosen.” Christians thought that the Jews were not chosen because they did not believe in Jesus, and they (Christians) were chosen because they believed in Jesus. There are many who think that However, this can be a huge mistake.

Christians, too, should know that no one is wearing a robe yet. The robes can only be received as a gift through the Son of God. They believe in the name of Jesus, who came to the land of Israel through evangelism from the lives of Gentiles who lived like dogs and pigs. , can you say that you are already in your wedding robes? This is not something that Christians usually misunderstand. We must remember that the Pharisees lived with such thoughts and went to destruction because they did not believe in Jesus.

If we look at the process of Gentiles becoming God's people, the king again tells his servants to go to the crossroads and bring as many people as they can find. The servants went to all directions and brought people they could find, and it was said that there were bad people and good people mixed in them. This is the same as the number of people in the church today as the evangelists who cry out for 'hell of disbelief in Jesus heaven' do not go out of their way to evangelize everyone they meet and bring people in. Among them, there are those who are forced to go to church by their family, there are those who come to church reluctantly because of friend's face, and there are those who come to church to satisfy their desires. Of course, there must be some of them who knocked on the door of the church with a really remorseful conscience. Because of this, it is said that the church is full of guests, both evil and good.

Anyway, it is true that at least all of them were invited to the wedding feast of the Son of God, no matter what the reason the Gentiles who lived like dogs and pigs left the church for some reason. The problem is, in order not to be kicked out of the king, you have to wear a wedding robe, and where do you get it? This is because no matter how much you are invited to a wedding feast, you cannot enter the wedding hall without wearing a wedding robe. If so, where should I get the robe and from whom? No one can obtain and wear that robe except through the very Son of God.

Despite this fact, Christians today are all speaking as if they were a chosen people and already in wedding robes. So, when Jesus returns in the air, everyone is excited about being lifted up in the air. No, the son has never come before them, so where did you get the robes? Could it be that the Holy Spirit is mistaken for the Spirit of Christ? The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the essence of the Father. How can we say that the Spirit of the Father is the same as the Spirit of the Son?

Because of this illusion, all Christians today are already wearing the robes of Christ. Christ has not yet come before Christians. However, they mistake the Spirit of the Father for the Spirit of the Son and believe that the Spirit of the Son dwells within them. This really can't be the blind man who opened his eyes. The reason the Pharisees did not believe even when they saw Jesus with their eyes open was because they were overestimating themselves as God's holy people.

Even today, by washing your eyes, you can be sure that the Spirit of the Son is not yet among Christians. If Christians had the Spirit of the Son, they would not be able to find the fallen Christians as they are today. The Holy Spirit is the one who points out the sins of men by giving laws to believers, but Christ is the one who takes upon himself the sins of men.

Therefore, those who have been reborn as Christ should show that they are willing to sacrifice themselves in the image of Christ. But who is willing to sacrifice themselves? Let alone sacrifices, even if there is a slight disadvantage to yourself, wouldn't you open your eyes and fight for your own benefit? Just by looking at this, you will be able to quickly tell who owns the kingdom of heaven and who does not. Therefore, the word chosen is also a reference to those who have been regenerated into Christ.

The parable of the rich man and the beggar speaks of who can go to heaven. According to the contents, there was a rich man in the land of Israel, who ate fine clothes and good food every day, held luxurious banquets, invited people close to him, and lived happily ever after. He is wealthy, so he seems to have nothing to envy in this world. But there was a man who made a living daily eating the crumbs that fell from the rich man's table, and he was a beggar. This beggar was so miserable that he couldn't take care of even the wounds on his body properly, so when he was lying outside the rich man's gate and eating crumbs falling from the rich man's table, dogs came and licked the boil.

In this way, the rich man and the beggar live in stark contrasts on this earth, and both die and face the afterlife. Perhaps the rich man thought that he would go to heaven because he was also zealous for his religious life on this earth. However, it seems that he arrived not in heaven, but in a fire of sulfur where he could not even drink a sip of water properly. Judging by the fact that he dips the tip of his finger in water to cool his tongue, it seems that the pain he is experiencing is no joke.

The content is not easily understood by our common sense, but the reality is that the Lord is telling us once again through the Bible. The lives of the rich and the beggars are contrasted so sharply that we hear them every day, but today, no one seems to listen to the words of the Bible.

At that time, Jesus came in the flesh, so naturally, he contrasted the materially rich with those who were not. However, the Lord who has come spiritually today does not view those who have a lot of visible material things as rich. Those who cannot let go of their greed, lust, and wealth and are struggling to grab them even at this moment in their hands are seeing them as wealthy. Conversely, they see people who live without being able to die day by day as beggars without having anything.

So, at this point, let's find out how many rich people are and how many beggars there are! First of all, if we look at the lives of unbelievers, it is clear that they have no choice but to open their eyes to wealth and fame. For those who do not know that God is alive, of course, the afterlife cannot be guaranteed, so they have no choice but to struggle to eat well and live well while they are on this earth.

But the problem is the believers. They are the ones who clearly know that God is a living being. But even though they know that the Bible clearly says that in order to enter the kingdom of heaven, they must abandon everything, but they do not intend to forsake any of them. Yet, he wants to go to heaven. How can we live such an antinomian life? If you are a believer, you must have read the Bible at least once, and if you have read the Bible, you must have read these words as well. Even so, they hardly ever give up on their own.

At that time, it was a carnal age, and Jesus used material parables as an example and spoke about the view of the kingdom of heaven through the lives of the rich and the beggar, but today is the spiritual age. You say you are rich. And the Lord is clearly telling us today that the poor in spirit will enter the kingdom of heaven first. But the problem is that rich people who have all kinds of things in their hearts are scattered all over the world, whereas poor people have a hard time finding them after washing their eyes. Even if there are people who are poor in spirit, it is difficult for them to become poor on their own.

That is why Jesus, who came to the land of Israel in the flesh to solve this human problem, will come again spiritually before Christians this time. It is said that human beings, regardless of who they are, are born with greed from the moment they are born. A good example is that when a newborn baby is biting on the mother's nipple and there is no milk, the infant bites the nipple tightly in an instant. What will this baby look like when he grows up? This is our self-portrait.

If those who have so many things in their hearts are told to give up everything they have and believe in the Lord in one day, how many people will be able to give up everything they have and believe in the Lord? We are not rich because we have wealth. See what's on their minds! How many things are preventing me from running to the Lord. After all, many thoughts could not comprehend the will of the Lord speaking spiritually, and after being immersed in the thoughts of the flesh, did not hesitate, then, being pushed by the thoughts that the devil quietly puts in, interpreted the Lord's words in a negative way and threw them away?

Look at the Pharisees, scribes, lawyers, and priests in Jesus' day! How could they not have struggled to come before the Son of God as they thought? But they never dreamed that the noble knowledge they had accumulated on the ground would hold them back. Even before meeting Jesus, the apostle Paul took the lead in killing Stephen with what he had learned at the Gamaliel rabbinic school, but after meeting Jesus, didn't he confess that he regarded all the noble knowledge he had learned as waste? How great was Paul's sin against God with that little knowledge?

No matter how high a human being on this earth learns and acquires noble knowledge, it may seem great from the point of view of the dead, but from God's point of view, it is less than the dust on a wheel of a chariot. If there was one thing man had learned in this world that was beneficial for his soul, God would not have sent his Son before the Gentiles again.

Today, the Son of God comes and tells us to put down all the useless things of mankind and follow me. Nevertheless, humans refuse to put them down until the very end. Then he must eventually go his own way. No matter how good the road he goes, he must eventually go to the place where the rich man stayed. There he will weep and grind his teeth. The reason is that he did not listen to the Lord's words during his lifetime and only put his own assertions in front of them.

Now the Lord asks us again. Do you want to live rich? Or do you want to live as a beggar? Therefore, those who want to live a rich life should go out into the world and enjoy the world to their heart's content. If you want to gain wealth and fame so that everyone in the world recognizes you, you should live your life fulfilling your greed to your heart's content. But those who really want to live forever, like Lazarus the beggar, tell them to throw away everything in the world and follow you. Now we will have to ask ourselves. Do I want to be rich or do I want to be a beggar?
